Screaming Into the Void

If you’re a writer who wants to write a great book that sells itself then the advice about how to use social media can end up being counterproductive. Good books […]

Decade of Reflections – final part

Decade of Reflections – part three

Continuing the recap of the last ten years picking back up in 2013 when I began to create light in my life through creativity while the life I’d built had […]

Decade of Reflections – part two

I spent an entire day sorting through journals in order to make a list of the trends of my last ten years as written. Not just in terms of what […]

Decade of Reflections – part one

My favorite holiday is New Year’s. It isn’t just the creation of resolutions, reflection on the past and hopes for the future. There’s a sense of death with the promise […]

Too Many Books?

I have a confession to make, I’ve read 85 books this year. It wasn’t my goal to read so much. Last year I read 115 books and had intended to […]

Goodreads Review: Dreamer of Dune

Before bed during Inktober and NaNoWriMo I read Dreamer of Dune. Often, books seem to come to me at just the right time so that when I am in need of support, inspiration, humor or anything, I discover just the book I needed. Brian Herbert’s biography of his father (which […]

Two very different cat moods here today.
Little Lovelies. They're getting along so well in a fairly short time. Little Lady was getting bored being alone so now she's got her Buddy to hang with, chase and totally ignore.
It often feels as though any little break from creating will undo all progress but then I sit down and make something only to be surprised by what I discover.
I hate to tap out early but I'm still sick. I've been sleeping, trying to keep food down and doing mostly mindless stuff on my phone for the last week. My energy levels are just totally tanked. I've managed to do a little digital art/play when I feel well enough.
